iPad Air replacement
I am looking at replacing my original iPad Air 64GB/4G. I got it when it was 1st launched, and over the last few months I’ve noticed that the iPad lags at times and battery is depleting faster then usual. Browsing will only last around 4 hours on Wifi. I’ve done a reset and restore, and it doesn’t seem to help. The wifi is also becoming an issue as it disappears from time to time (no SSID shown).
I recently got a Lenovo tab 4 hd, but have returned it as I would rather put up with a crippled iPad Air.
I’ve been eyeing the iPad 2017, but recently I’ve seen old stocks of iPad Pro 9.7 popping up. Is the iPad 2017 much faster than the iPad Air, and can you tell the difference? Or for a few hundred dollars more, grab the iPad Pro 9.7? Will the estimate support be the same, or will it be longer on the 2017 because it’s a newer device.
I mainly use the iPad for browsing, light gaming, reading comics. I sometimes open big pdf’s. My iPad Air has always struggles with big pdf’s, but the Lenovo could handle it better. Will it be a improvement on the iPad 2017?
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
