Question: Ipad storage with Dropbox and Files in iOS 11
I have a new ipad 2017 and synced my dropbox and Google drive with ipad, so that everything is accessible through the new files app in iOS 11. I’ve noticed that when I open a file (For example an excel file), the file seems to be downloaded to my ipad and then opened (the little cloud with a downward arrow symbol dissapears). When I checked my storage settings in my ipad this seemed to agree. My question is whether there is a way to not have the ipad keep the file stored in its memory. I would prefer that once changes are saved it go back to not being downloaded.
Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
