I find it bemusing how Apple has commented on how laptops shouldn’t have touchscreens, yet the iPad Pro works in the same way.
I’m all for an Apple MacBook 2-in-1.
What irks me is that Apple has commented on how lifting your hand to the screen of a laptop is silly, but you do the exact same thing with the iPad Pro when using the keyboard. With a 2-in-1 you have the option of screen *or* trackpad but with the iPad, you *must* use the vertical gesture Apple seem so against.
I hope with the implementation of iOS transitioning apps to Mac, we can in the future see a hybrid that doesn’t have major compromises as current forms do.
