Question to those who got their iPhone 6s batteries replaced with the battery replacement program
I got an iPhone 6s which I bough in October 2015. I started having battery issues like random shut downs and so on when the battery was less than 50% charged. So fortunately Apple announced the battery replacement program and I got my iPhone’s battery replaced in November 2016.
By the end of 2017 the replacement battery started to act exactly the same way as the battery that the phone had when I bought it. With battery health stating 88% and some 300 charge cycles on it I find it odd.
So I’m wondering did Apple use the same crappy batteries during the replacement program? Or the batteries are actually fine but the problem is with iOS or the phone’s hardware? If the fault really is with the batteries than I’m wondering are the batteries that Apple currently uses any better than the ones they used in 2015 and 2016?
Anybody else got similar experience?
