Why can’t I get my iPhone 8 to fast charge?
I’ve recently bought a wireless charging base for my i8 and was planning to take advantage of the fast charge feature introduced with iOS 11.2.
My iPhone is currently on 11.3.1; I bought a [CHOETECH charging pad](https://www.choetech.com/product/qi-fast-wireless-charging-pad.html) and an [AUKEY Quick charge 3.0 AC adapter](https://www.aukey.com/products/quick-charge-3-0-wall-charger-pa-t9) and I’ve connected them using a 3A capable microUSB cable. From my understanding, everything was compatible with the 7.5W quick charge feature of my iPhone 8.
From what I’ve read, you know your phone is fast charging because the charging sound is played twice: sadly this doesn’t happen to my phone.
Now my question is: which of the three items is stopping my phone from quick charging?
– Input: AC 100-240 V 50/60 Hz 0.5A
– Output: DC 3.6 V – 6.5 V @ 3A / 6.5 V – 9 V @ 2A / 9 V – 12 V @ 1.5 A
ELZO MicroUSB cable
– Up to 3A current supported
CHOETECH charging pad
– Input: 5 V @ 2 A, 9 V @ 1.7 A
– Output: 10 W (Max)
Thanks for any help.
