Followup on questionable business practices of Apple trade-in partner, Brightstar.

In the previous Post, I discovered I’m not alone in being tricked by brightstar into thinking my device is broken.
Short recap: I sent in my Apple Watch 0 38mm with a quote for $50. It was a perfectly working watch but brighstar claimed it didn’t turn on. They held the product hostage for almost a month with no attempts to retry or to send it back.
Well I finally got the watch back, and it works perfectly fine.
Now if I go back to Apple’s recycle page, they now offer only $25. No doubt because at WWDC we learned the next WatchOS will not work on S0.
It really sucks that my time was not only wasted and that I was obviously lied to (along with a bunch of other stories from you guys in the previous post), but now so much time has passed that a press reveal of the future of the S0 has dropped its value. I could have sold the watch by now through other venues but they just stole it from me for a whole month.
I really hope some Apple news site picks up on this and does some investigative reporting.
