Question about smartphone games.
How come phones in 2018 can’t have their own cartridge games like the older iconic Nokia N-GaGe? Instead of having dual sim slots, why not make a port for cartridges/micro sd’s and make triple a games for mobile smartphones? I mean we do have controller support now so it won’t be an issue. I remember In 2003 the Nokia NGage was the first phone of its kind. Had ps1 games on a mobile phone but also had a slot for game cartridges. Also, making cartridges will help to free up space on our phone’s storage.
So why did they stop or discontinue this idea? I think it would work excellently for fitting big sized games on our phone devices. Also, I know some people prefer to have physical copies of their games. Especially for people who love collecting and selling games.
