Thank you for Apple Store and iPhone X replacement
Just sharing my experience of the Apple Store so far, in my 10 years experience using Apple products, noticeably iPhone (since 5), iPad (since original), and MacBookPro (2010).
In the past, I did not know that Apple Store existed. Before switching gear to Apple, I remember having iPhone 3GS that at one time has its modem toasted after iOS update. I really should have gone to Apple Store to get replacement.
Only until a friend told me that I can visit Apple Genius, which is just located at nearby Apple Store in the city where I live, I finally realized this extra service that is HUGE part of Apple ecosystem.
Sure, in my city, we also have Samsung and Microsoft Stores, but Apple Store is different, the original place where we can try and test latest Apple products etc. We can also get special events to learn more about the Apple products, although mostly basic, but occasionally they invite special guests for photography, etc.
So far my experience with Apple Store has been pretty good. From 8 out of 10, I am getting top service, especially when I have issue with my products. Yeah there are time when service is slow and everyone is practically busy and you are not getting service. But with appointment, typically 1 hour waiting.
Even when I did something dumb like forgetting my iPad password that I just purchased at Apple Store Ginza. They fixed it. When I drown my iPad 2 accidentally, they actually replaced it with new refurbished, for free. When my iPhone 5S camera has weird camera issue, they give a new iPhone for free! When my iPhone X got weird vertical green line on the screen, the swap it on the same day.
Apple, thanks for the Apple Store. Keep the high quality service!
