iPad is the best thing for someone who is in the hospital or not very mobile! Add on an external keyboard and some decent headphones and it is sublime. Thank you, Apple for enriching people’s lives.
The ‘new’ iPad I bought this year has been perfect. I was anticipating it for college, but things change. It is the best Apple product I have bought *for the money.*
Screen is wonderful. Speakers are OUTSTANDING — they are comparable to small bluetooth speakers I have bought before. The new dock is a fantastic addition — the home button is unnecessary and unnatural now. The speed of apps and multitasking is a wonder. I used to have the first iPad Pro and this iPad feels just as fast, even using Pro apps.
I *love* the ability to use split-screen. When I had cable, I liked to read stuff while the TV was on and I can do that now with split-screen and have Youtube videos playing.
This is exactly why I purchase Apple products when I do. (Had to switch to a PC desktop rig this year due to the cost of Pro Macintosh computers, however it hasn’t got as much use as I’d like)
Procreate and all of these art and music apps are lovely. Garageband is better than it has ever been, although not there with Logic it has many perks.
Sorry for this silly post, just wanted to share my use of this product and how much it has been beneficial to my life. It’s versatility and lightness is great (physically and OS-wise). If a friend or family member ever faces hospitalization or limited mobility, I will definitely want to chip in for an iPad for them.
If anyone at Apple reads this, *thank you*.
