My iPhone 6 backlight suddenly stopped working yesterday, I need some help/advice.
Yesterday I left my iPhone 6 charging, when I went back to get it, it looked like it was turned off, but then I noticed that it was actually on because it would vibrate when I flipped the silent switch and also when I used an unregistered finger on the home button.
I wanted to turn it off and on again but I couldn’t really tell whether or not I was actually turning it off. I then tried to do a hard reset, and that’s when I noticed that it wasn’t the screen that was not displaying anything, it was just the backlight. I could just barely make out the black apple logo while it was resetting.
I’m currently sitting here with the screen removed, I thought maybe disconnecting and reconnecting it might work (I have no idea). I barely have any tools, just the ones that came with a battery replacement kit I bought a while back. And the phone is still on, probably not good to remove the screen while it’s still on but I didnt know what else to do.
(Before anyone asks, I didnt drop it or hit it with anything, and I didn’t spill any water on it.)
