[Question] TrueDepth camera disables itself and doesn’t come back until I reboot
Hey guys, so I’ve had an iPhone X since January and ever since I got the phone FaceID has been stopping working intermittently and I have to restart. It stops scanning, won’t re-set up my face and portrait blur on the front facing camera also doesn’t work. So I called Apple support and they ran a diagnostics and they said that while the sensor comes back as working (although it literally wouldn’t scan while they were running the diagnostics), they said Bluetooth has an issue and that I should take the phone to the Bar and they opened a case with videos I’ve sent them with the phone not scanning. So I was able to book an appointment and I’m taking it in, seeing as this has become too aggressive and I now need to restart twice per day, but I was wondering if anyone has had the same problem and had Apple take care of this. Do they replace the sensor or the phone? I’ve also tried restoring and setting up as new many times but got nothing.
