How does my provider know that find my iPhone is switched on?
I’m making a claim on my provider’s (3 in the U.K.) rescue plan due to a cracked screen. While going through the steps on the website it asks me to switch ‘find my iPhone’ off. I clicked to say that I had intending to do it later but I then got a message telling me that I hadn’t turned it off yet.
I have never given them either the email or the password associated with my iCloud or iTunes or anything. How do they know this?
