What colour border iPad did / would you pick?
I actually have an iPad already, but I just wanted to hear from others.
I looked around the Internet, and it seems like the general consensus is, if you’re playing YouTube videos most of the time, you want black, which is like a safer option and less distracting.
On the other hand, if you’re doing things like reading, or writing notes, you want white which doesn’t contrast with the white background on PDFs and note apps.
I actually got a gold iPad (i.e white border), but my reasons were totally different from these recommended guidelines. My reason was because I was using an apple pencil, and the lightning cable is white as well. It would look really weird using a white apple pencil with a black iPad, the mismatch would just make me die inside.
What about you guys? Any weird reasons for your colour choices?
PS. kind of unrelated to my main question, but while we’re on this topic, anyone knows why apple doesn’t create a white border option for its line of MacBook Pros? Is it because the kind of apps used in MacBook Pros are different from that of iPad Pros, and the kinds of media usually consumed on MacBook Pros are often more suited for a black border?
