iPad Pro keeps dropping eduroam wifi (iOS 12.1.1)
As title says. My normal 2,5 Ghz wifi works fine on my iPad Pro 11 inch (2018). I’ve already installed the new certificate our school wants us to have https://uvt.cuni.cz/UVT-420.html (that GéANT thing or I don’t know) down bellow is their lates email from May.
After I connect to eduroam, the wheel spins for approx. 2 seconds and then I get the message “unable to conncect to eduroam” and the connection is dropped.
iPhone 7 12.0.1 works fine
Macbook Pro 2014 Mojave 10.14.1 works fine
I don’t know whether its related to this or… Anybody any similar experience?
*Dear eduroam user,
on Tuesday May 15th 2018 at 15:05 there will be a change of certificates of our eduroam RADIUS servers. You must modify the configuration of your devices (notebook, tablet, mobile, etc.) before May 15th 2018 if you want to continue using the eduroam WiFi network.
AFTER MAY 15TH 2018 YOU’LL NOT BE ABLE TO CONNECT TO THE EDUROAM WIFI NETWORK IF YOU DON’T MODIFY THE CONFIGURATION OF YOUR DEVICES!
The easiest way to make the necessary changes is to use the eduroam CAT (https://cat.eduroam.org/?idp=635) or use the guides at this page: https://eduroam.cuni.cz/en/guides
During the setup of the eduroam profile you’ll be asked to enter your username including realm (domain) and the eduroam password.
You can find more information regarding this change here: https://uvt.cuni.cz/UVTENG-25.html
