Amid a sea of high prices, the $329 iPad is a bastion of great value in Apple’s lineup. And, oh yea, it’s awesome.
I recently received this iPad as a gift, and I am blown away by how great this device is. Sure, it’s not the absolute latest and greatest tech available on an iPad, but for what you are paying it’s a phenomenal device. Great screen, battery life, performance, supports Apple Pencil, and runs super smooth with iOS 12.
The thing that most surprised me about it was that it supports all of the iPhone X/iPad Pro gestures! I’m used to these gestures from my XS, so this made picking up this new iPad a breeze. After unlocking with Touch ID, I can completely stop using the home button.
I’m surprised I don’t see this iPad talked about/recommended more often. $329 isn’t cheap by any means, but I think right now it’s one of the best value for money products in their lineup. And it’s not like you’re getting this value because this is a 2+ year old device – it was refreshed with a new processor and Pencil support this Spring, at the same price.
