Will be needing a PC in the near future, Should I return my iPad Pro (12.9)?
Hello iPad subreddit!
I was wondering if you guys could help me out with my dilemma and give me some recommendations. So a quick little background. About a month back or so, I sold my old laptop to upgrade to a Surface Pro(what I thought I wanted at the time). When the iPad Pro came out though, I had a change of heart . I fell in love with the iPad . It is truly an amazing tablet. It works so seem less, and the App development is just amazing!
I have used it to take notes with the pencil while having a pdf split screen and a pop up video of the lecture playing all at once. It just handles everything so easily.
This is where my dilemma comes in. I recently got accepted to attend a Microsoft Cloud Development course at the beginning of the year and while a laptop will be provided during school, I won’t have a device to work on from home (the only other device at home is my wife’s late model MacBook Air). I am starting to feel like I might have to return this thing (not working with a big budget) to get what might be a decent computer (Surface Pro) but a rather subpar tablet. The app ecosystem is what makes the iPad so great and would hate to lose that. So this is where I ask you strangers, if you where in my shoes what you would do?
(TL/DR) help me pick form these options;
(A) return my recently purchased iPad Pro and pick up a Surface (would want to keep a tablet experience).
(B) keep the iPad and buy an older model refurbished dell for a little over $200 to get me by or
(C) Keep the iPad and Dual Boot Windows on my wife’s MacBook Air,
