I know people miss Magsafe, but another feature I really miss the self-contained cable management.
I have a 2017 MacBook Pro after upgrading from a 2015 MB Pro and before that a 2009 MacBook Pro.
I see posts here often about missing Magsafe (I do too) but the feature that sticks out to me most is the little “wings” you could pop out on the Magsafe chargers to wind your cable while not in use/traveling. On the USB C chargers, the best option is to disconnect the cable entirely and wind it up on itself or use a velcro strip to keep it organized.
I know this isn’t a major problem, but I always felt that the way the charger was designed was “quintessentially Apple”, that the form was still beautiful while providing function. It seems that they could have provided the same design without issue, unless I’m missing something, on the new charging bricks.
