Is there a way to use my iPad like a drawing tablet?
I’m not an artist but I have/had a few drawing tablets. What you would do is connect them to your computer/monitor and whatever you drew on the tablet would show up on the screen. You didn’t really have to look at the tablet and it was more of an advanced stylus/mouse combo.
Can I do that with my iPad and desktop monitor? I don’t really want to draw but I’d like to open something like excel, sheets, google dock or Goodnotes and annotate using the pencil and my desktop. Can I write on my iPad while looking at my desktop and not necessarily the iPad itself. I really hope I’m making sense but is there any way to take my iPad screen, put it on my larger desktop machine, and still use the iPads pencil features? I would prefer a wireless method or an app but will definitely use some kind of hardware if needed.
