IPad pro and Apple pencil put to the battery test
I have been on this group for a while before the newest iPad Pro was put on the market and ever since it has been out, I have read from many users having problems with their devices and I feel bad for any of you and I’m sorry if I might have said something that might have been negative or unhelpful.
Some of the problems I have read on here was battery issues aside from bending devices. Battery seems to be one of the biggest negatives with the new devices. I have not noticed any battery loss on my iPad other than the regular loss that is. On many occasions I have not charged my iPad and never noticed any anomaly. Son there’s that.
Pencil battery and disconnection has been another issue I have read. That been said, last night after a drawing session, I left my pencil on the desk, not hooked to the iPad. I went to bed and I knew I had to hook it but this morning I wasn’t going to use it so I thought about not charging it and see what happened. I woke up this morning and no charge loss. The pencil went to sleep or automatically disconnected. It was not showing on my iPad when I got in but the moment I opened procreate, the pencil connected with no battery loss. I left it on 89% last night and it was the same this morning.
In the past the tip has come loose, that was weird.
It got disconnected in the middle of a drawing session.
Nothing that affected me in any way or that made me wonder if it was a faulty product.
My iPad is not bent, I have the smart folio on though and it is the 12.9 inch with no lte on it if that helps. I’m not saying users are lying, I just wanted to share my experience and I assume some of us might be lucky not to deal with those problems and I’m really glad about that but also unhappy with people who goes through problems. These are expensive toys after all. Good luck to you guys.
