Duet Display disables Adobe software from using dedicated GPU.
I’ve been loving Duet since the last update. But lately I’ve noticed Adobe software like Photoshop are super slow and couldn’t figure it out. I looked in my performance settings and saw that they were using my integrated Intel GPU and not my dedicated AMD Radeon 560 GPU. Still couldn’t figure out why, until I turned off Duet Display and bam, Photoshop using my Radeon like it’s supposed to and back to being snappy and responsive.
Anyone else have this problem? 2017 MacBook Pro and a 1st gen iPad Pro 12.9″.
Sucks because I use Adobe apps constantly and really need the extra screen space on my iPad.
Maybe I’ll just suck it up and buy Luna Display.
