How restrictive is Apple Pay? If I were to make my own Apple Pay card (like a rewards card) – could I use that to unlock an NFC lock on my house door?
My boss asked me if it is possible to stop using keycards, and instead make an Apple Pay card that acts like a key card. In essence, I should be able to open up Apple Pay, have my FaceID approve me, and then tap the phone against the office entrance, and have it unlock.
Is something like this possible?
