People having problem hearing me on calls, can my voice be the problem?
I have been having this problem since I moved to a big city in November. When I’m outside on a busy road or on the subway people I’m talking to on the phone can’t hear me. My voice get cancelled out by the background, my girlfriend says that she is hearing people in the background crystal clear and me almost not att all.
So first I thought that it was my old BT-Headset that was bad, so I bought Sony wh-1000xm2, but that didn’t work so I bought Plantronics backbeat pro 2 and same thing with them. I thought that because the mic is on the side of the headphones on wireless headphones it would be easier to hear me with a wired headphone with a mic on the wire. So I bought Bose quietcomfort 25.
They are better but I still have problem with people not hearing me. It’s as bad with the earpods that comes with the phone and it’s the same on both my iphone 7 and XR. I have been to Apple store and they looked at the lightning port but didn’t see any problem with the phone, they even gave me new earpods and lightning to 3.5 adapter.
I can honestly not come up with a reasonable explanation for this problem, the only thing left is that my voice is somehow cancelled out, like noise canceling and iphones think my voice is noise.
I see people every day on the subway with the Bose and Sony headphones having a good chat on the phone, so why can’t I? I’m so tired of this.
