Apple constantly boasts about how environmentally friendly its products are so I’d just like to see someone asking to Tim Cook’s face how does he justify a proprietary charging port on the iPhone in 2019.
At this point I’m more receptive to the removal of all ports (as some rumours suggested) than being disappointed with the use of lightning for another year.
Edit: some people didn’t get it. I’m talking about lightning vs usb-c
Edit 2: I’m just curious on what would be Tim’s defence on this from an environmental standpoint. They’re selling a MacBook Air made of recycled material, right? Yet they’re in no hurry in theoretically reducing the number of cables people would need.
