Please keep in mind: We are likely going to be disappointed by WWDC
I want to be clear that I’m not saying that WWDC is going to be a bomb, but I think this sub needs to go into June understanding that there is *no way* we are all going to be satisfied.
People want [a new iTunes,](https://www.reddit.com/r/apple/comments/aw5j41/anyone_else_hoping_for_a_new_design_for_itunes/) a [dark mode,](https://www.reddit.com/r/apple/comments/atwfmc/dark_mode_coming_to_ios13_but_may_be_delayed_to/) I want [a new Siri,](https://www.reddit.com/r/apple/comments/aowcjl/comment/eg4my3p) people are demanding an [overhaul to Apple Music](https://www.reddit.com/r/apple/comments/auy521/apple_music_needs_a_major_update_in_ios_13/) and we are all hoping for [a new homescreen.](https://www.reddit.com/r/apple/comments/a8mzos/in_what_ways_could_apple_improve_the_home_screen/)
The list goes on. Apple can implement most of these, but I can’t ever remember a WWDC where *all* of the wish list items were addressed (I think you could make the best case for iOS 8, but even then it wasn’t all encompassing). At some point some group of people aren’t going to get what they were hoping for.
For those who will be disappointed, try not to fall into the mindset of “I didn’t get what I want, so this year was awful and Apple is doomed”. It happens every year where the announcements themselves generate excitement, and then it gets deflated by those who were let down. Like with anything, it’s fun to speculate and get excited for stuff, but don’t let rumours and speculation become expectation.
