Deciding between returning my current iPad Pro 12.9 for a MacBook Air or keeping
After a career change I’ve had to hand in all my corporate goodies (iPhone, iPad Pro, MacBook Air) and have since contemplated getting a “personal” computing device to have some separation between work and my personal life. I previously did all my computing on my MacBook Air via my previous employer and got a iPad Pro through work but didn’t have it long enough to get comfortable with it.
I’ve since purchased my own personal 12.9 inch iPad Pro as a personal device but am longing for a mouse when surfing safari and the like. Are others using an iPad Pro as a personal device and managing just fine ? I felt it would be a bit much if not redundant to own two MacBook Airs (one for work, one for personal) but want to make sure I’m not being left short handed not owning a laptop. I mainly use Apple Music, Surf Safari, Answer Emails, mess around with garage band and the occasional hour long Reddit binge ; ) It sounds like part of the key of bridging the gap is getting used to the short cuts on my Smart Keyboard folio but are there any other tips for workflow and the like?
