iPhone 6s unusual screen problems
I’ve have an iPhone 6s 128g for about 3 years since it was released in 2015. My current iOS is 12.1.4 if that is of any importance. I’ve had problems with it over the years one of which is that it randomly gets kicked off my home wifi while my girlfriend’s iPhone 7 never experienced that. It is also one of the faulty models in which the battery died randomly at 40% for example. It’s have it’s batter replaced once before directly because of the previous issue and even with a different batter that’s barely over a year old, I’ve had problems recently over the past couple of months with it overheating. While these aren’t the problem I want to ask about, I figured it could be a factor. The problem I’m having now is that my screen turns off 30 second after usage when in my settings I have it at 1 minute, and I mean this while it’s not in power saving mode. What are some causes to the screen turning off like this and also could it be from phone heating up because it tends to happen when I want to use an app, Spotify for example, and it starts to slow down and lag and at times freeze for several seconds and the phone itself increases in heat making it uncomfortable to even hold. My phone even has trouble simply switching apps and there’s a lag between the animations where the animations dissapear or occurred very quickly and at times the app will just crash and/or the phone will freeze and can’t be used for a little while. Lastly, would it help to just jailbreak my phone to try and have it run on that software (I ask because currently I can’t go out and buy a newer phone model just to get it over with). Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
