Apple won’t repair my macbook pro in warranty with keyboard issues as the LCD has a dent
This week, I am very disappointed with Apple Support. I have been an Apple fan and love their design and OS. I have a touchbar Macbook Pro. Some of the keys were hard to press and a key came off. Still under Apple Care, dropped off to the nearest Genius! They run the diagnostic and all green. Was said happily that they would replace the keyboard and would be notified when fixed. A day later, get an email saying that the LCD has a dent along with some pictures and would be required to pay 1K+ to fix. The LCD was no way related to the keyboard issue, I talked to the support, senior support, apple care support but they kept insisting, Apple Policy is to fix all or nothing. The display works just fine, nothing wrong and the dent is no way affecting. Is this a standard policy? Any one else faced similar issue?
