Discussion about AppleCare Support and the iPhone X
So today I was listening to a lecture and I just though of this issue I had a few months ago with Apple Support and I was compiled to share the experience. I the beginning of the year I sent up a reservation at the Apple Store for my iPhone X since I have having the display touch issue and they ran diagnosis on my device and confirmed the issue but instead of just replace the device they were told they had to send the device into the depo center. They gave me a loaner phone and everything way great less than a week later I was told my device came back in but it was replaced with a warranty replacement device. I though everything was great but that day I had an issue where my device would just randomly restart and it happened multiple times my phone just froze went to a black screen then the apple logo. I though great I got a defective device so I setup another reservation and they tested the device at the store and said they found no issues but they in store replaced the device I don’t know why they couldn’t do that before but they did and I though all was good but the same issue happened again! I went to the Apple store about 8 times an no luck. I was told they could find an issue multiple times they restored my phone in iTunes multiple times and replaced my device multiple times. I was even told by one lady that there is no issue with my device and I should not go back to the store. I was so frustrated I ended up just going to T-Mobile and getting a new phone and traded in that iPhone X and got an iPhone XS Max. Guess what I had zero issues with that phone and it has been a month no and I have had no issues. I really just wanted to switch and get Apple out of my life but they keep you in. I need an iPhone for school. I need a Mac for Xcode and Final Cut. So I was just wondering has anyone else had any issues like this with the iPhone X or with Apple Support if so please let me know and tell me if I should have handled this situation differently as I think I should have. And for any of y’all wondering I went to the Apple Store at the Baybrook mall in Friendswood, Texas.
