It’s not only the prices that are making people upgrade less, might not even be the biggest factor.
I keep seeing people say it’s the price of the iPhone that’s stopping people from upgrading. While I think this plays a big role I think the biggest is **there is not as much incentive to upgrade**. Think back to when people were upgrading the most; there were dramatic improvements in software, hardware, and speed.
Now it’s mostly the same phone but with spec upgrades. Why upgrade the 7 or 8/8+ when the iPhone X is just as fast, and XR/XS if it has mostly the same hardware with **minor** speed increases?
You might have a reason, but to a lot of other people who just use their phone to use the web or play simple games, they don’t.
Face ID and Apple Pay is awesome, but nothing came out that is really revolutionizing recently with apple, and probably won’t tbh. I’m sure a ton of People with Touch ID dgaf about Face ID, Especially if they have gen 2.
