11″ iPad Pro FaceTime microphone audio randomly slowly fades completely out
We finally upgraded from iPad 2, to the new iPad Pro 11″ and for some reason the new iPad’s microphone will intermittently begin to slowly fade out to the point where it goes silent and person on the other end eventually cannot hear us, but they can see our video fine. I suspect it to be something wrong with the noise cancellation in the microphone. I wasn’t able to find any configurable settings. The only way to fix it is to end the Facetime call and start it again. The wireless network is very strong, so I know it’s not a lack of bandwidth that I can see. We didn’t have the issue with the old iPad 2, so there’s definitely a lot more variables with the new device… iOS version, hardware, the list goes on… Anyone able to offer some advice or is experiencing the same thing? Also, audio and video from the other person are fine. This happens both with and without a case on the device, so that’s not the problem.
