The biggest pro-privacy move apple can make
If Apple really wants to push for stricter privacy they should silo apps’s view of IDFA and IDFV by generating a unique value for each app. Right now companies push you to install apps so that they can collect your behavior / demographics and sell lists of IDFAs for things like ‘parents’ and ’30-35 years old’. This is the biggest reason companies push you to download their app, these IDs are much less frequently erased than web cookies (that and being on your home screen is the ultimate bookmark).

I think Apple should reclaim the power of the app ecosystem they built by cutting off the data brokering industry at it’s knees. Is there any downside for them to do this?
