Advice connecting iPad Pro 2018 with PC Monitor, Keyboard, and Mouse
So here’s what I have:
1. IPad Pro 2018 (USB-C) with iPadOS installed
2. Two VGA/DVI PC Monitors for work.
3. HP PC for work.
4. USB Keyboard & Mouse.
The keyboard, mouse, and monitors and currently hooked up to my work PC via USB & VGA respectively.
What I want to accomplish is to be able to connect the keyboard, mouse, and one of the monitors to my iPad now that iPadOS has mouse support. I also want to be able to switch the three accessories between the iPad and my work PC.
I know I’ll need at least 2 adapters, a KVM switch to connect the keyboard, mouse, and monitor to both the iPad & PC and a USB-C Multiport that has VGA & 2 USB-A ports.. I can’t use wireless anything because of work restrictions. It’s already a complicated deal working with multiple adapters so I’d like to accomplish this as simply as possible.
1. Has anyone accomplished this setup before?
2. What adapters do you recommend?
3. Is this even worth it?
