Does the iPhone use the microphone to anticipate searches in Safari?
I can’t find any documentation, and only one program (not safari) has ever requested access to my microphone.
I’ve had several searches anticipate what I wanted based on conversations I was having (or TV I was watching). The Siri assistant is not enabled.
A few weeks ago I was watching “Lucifer” and the main character was playing the piano, and singing. I opened up Safari, and before I finished typing the first generic word “lyrics” it had already brought up lyrics to the song that was being sung on the TV. (Creep – by Radiohead) which I had never searched for before
Today it happened 3 times, once we were talking about Tom Brady’s wife immediately before I opened Safari (to find out how old Brady is) and before I had typed in “Tom” [Gisele appeared as a suggestion](https://i.imgur.com/cbK2aPQ.jpg)
The most recent time I was talking about one of Mozart’s songs, that I hadn’t heard of before today, and had never searched for, and before I finished typing “Mozart”… the very song I had just discussed was the suggested link.
Anybody else getting a lot of suggested links that seem based off conversations you were literally just having, that would suggest your phone’s microphone is listening.
