I recently upgraded from my 7 to the XR (miss the home button but everything else is phenomenal). Since it’s new I’m very nervous about damaging it in any way and would love to know what the best screen protectors are on a budget. I bought a basic one from a local phone shop, but that one splintered within days and the second is still on, but covered in small scratches from minor use ($15 from best buy).

I’ve checked out cnet articles and such but i figured I’d consult my favorite internet denizens for anything they might have missed.
