iPhone 11 camera “ugliness” is overblown
Yes, it’s a square. Yes, it’s big. Do I prefer the older design? Maybe–THE PRODUCT IS NOT EVEN OUT YET–but one thing for sure is, it’s definitely NOT as bad as people are making it out to be. Just like the notch, the headphone jack, airpods, or anything that apple releases, STOP over-blowing things just for the sake of hating on the company.
Like, NO ONE uses the back of their phones to begin with. We interact with the FRONT, NOT the BACK. And even if you do think it’s “ugly”, you won’t be able to see it for the vast majority of the time, so relax. It’s more of a flex than anything really, because now everyone knows you have the latest iPhone because of the “controversial” camera.
Again, it’s just smart marketing from Apple: camera generates free exposure–>more people know of it–>more likely to buy/more purchases= more profit $$$.
Not to mention, each lenses are getting 1.5x bigger–> which means better picture/video quality, and it helps it stand out from the seas of smartphones. Maybe the older design was better, but to be perfectly honest, I’d prefer this over a single strip going down the middle of my phone anyday.
