10 year iPhone user confused and worried about switching to Android
So I’ve been using the iPhone for about 10 years and got on to getting a MacBook Pro, iMac, iPad and an Apple watch over the years. It has never bothered me to switch or I would never thing of switching seeing the quality of android phones that were being put out over the past years, but I am now kind of done with the iPhone at this point, with no customisation and a lack of openness, the myriad of bells and whistles available to make your life easier on the android side is just too good. Im thinking of switching to the Galaxy s10+ only for the amazing screen, great dolby speakers HDR10+ support, in-depth customisation on the new One UI a few among the other features.
However my biggest worry is what will it be to get an android device when I am using all of the apple products for my daily need! Biggest being I will have to get rid of my Apple watch for sure, how easy will it be to accommodate my life with an android phone alongside the iMac/MacBook/iPad? Will not having seamless iCloud access across the devices be a problem? How difficult will it be to get all my passwords of over 10 years to port on an android and get them out of Keychain Access? Will I still be able to do the things I seamlessly do with an iPhone in my had and a MacBook/iPad?
Please help me decide if just replacing a phone to an android OS in the Apple ecosystem I have disrupt my life or is there a way around without hampering it. I am ready to adapt as long as everything checks the box.
Thank you in advance. Peace
