iwatch series 3 overheating. Erratic touch screen behavior and full charge to dead in about 4 hours
Not sure what’s going on, possible water damage? Was at a lake and did have the “water proof” function on. On the way home I noticed it was really hot on my wrist. I turned off the water proof function, and I checked the battery, it had dropped to 30% (was fully charged overnight, I had it on for about 8hours at this time). Within about 10 minutes it gave me the “low battery, switch to low power mode prompt”.
Got home, charged it to about 80% and put it back on. Still super hot, and within 25-30 min the battery power had reduced down to 45%.
I shut it off, turned it back on, and it seems to be continuing the same behavior.
One other oddball thing that may be a coincidence, my iPhone and iwatch both prompted me
To sign back in with my Apple ID and password after I had re-powered the Apple watch up again.
Currently have it completely off and will charge it over night, and turn it back on in the morning to see if anything works it’s self out giving it a break.
Any ideas guys?
