Is Apple likely to offer the same cash back reward in the UK when the Apple Card releases here?
So there’s been a lot of discussion about how the Apple Card isn’t even one of the best and that there’s much better cash back credit cards out there.
That said, in the UK, cash back credit cards are virtually nonexistent and if they are, then they’re around 0.5%-1% cash back, meaning that a 2% cash back reward is extremely appetising. This is due to EU legislation which limits the amount that card companies can charge retailers to use their services.
So what are the odds of Apple offering a 2% cash back reward in the UK? I guess this also applies to countries in the EU. Are they likely to change the cash back percentage to a lower one?
