Connecting iPad to Raspberry Pi over Ethernet
I have the 9.7″ iPad, I had the idea of also using it to do programming when I’m not next to my desktop.
I have seen [this post](https://www.google.com/amp/s/marcelwiget.blog/2018/12/02/tether-rpi-to-ipad-pro-via-ethernet-over-usb-c/amp/) mentioning connecting the iPad pro to a raspberry pi using a usb c to micro cable with the “Ethernet over usb” protocol.
Would it work similarly if I used a lightning (instead of usb c) to micro usb cable to connect my raspberry pi. I’m also using the standard sized raspberry pi 3 instead of the zero that was used in the link I showed above, this means I assume it would also be possible to use a lightning to Ethernet adapter but looking at prices, that belkin thing is kind of expensive.
