Pixelmator Pro for iPad is dead in the water
Just received this mail from the Pixelmator team – seems they’ve – for now anyway – canceled the Pixelmator Pro for iPad🙄
So, too anyone else holding out from buying Affinity Pro – go ahead, unless you want to stick by Adobe’s Photoshop subscription plan, of course

Hey there Tonny,
Thanks for getting in touch. The iOS version of Pixelmator Pro is definitely something we had been seriously considering, but to be honest, our plans have changed a little here. That’s not to say we’ve ruled out Pixelmator Pro for iPad completely, but for the time being, it will be available on Mac only. Besides, thanks to Apple’s Sidecar technology, Pixelmator Pro has been made available on iPad, which is obviously not the same thing as a standalone iOS app, but quite an awesome alternative to use in the meantime.
