My workflow changed… too late.
I have been using an iPad for drawing and creative work for years, ever since the first iPad and I dreamt of making it my only device. Procreate is that good of a drawing app and keeps getting better. Imagine my surprise as the iPad gets more and more pro features and apps like Photoshop move over to the iPad—I want to use my laptop and mouse way more. I use my iPad for mainly reading and have taken up the mouse/Wacom to do digital illustrations because other than drawing, I just struggle with the iPad. The mouse and feature rich desktop apps are more important to me in a design and illustration career. They’re just more fun to use as I get better results out of it.
TLDR wanted iPad to be computer replacement, as it moves towards that goal it shows its limitations as a computer replacement.
