I’ve been struggling with a reasonable photo editing workflow on my iPad Pro 9.7”, which still has a lightning connection. I like to rely on local storage vs cloud, but the power limitations of lightning make it difficult.

I’m trying to avoid using the giant USB to lightning dongle as it requires additional power, but every lightning thumb drive I find on Amazon requires some terrible app to use.

Has anyone found a lightning thumb drive that doesn’t suck and is natively compatible with Files on an iPad? Bonus points if it also has a USB-C connection.
