How do you map your mouse buttons for ipad?
Was wondering if anyone had any particularly optimal workflows for their mouse as Apple allows you to map all the buttons to certain gestures.
My mouse has right click, left click scroll wheel click and a forward and back button. I have them mapped as so:
Left click: ‘Single-Tap’ , this is normal mouse mode and perfectly emulates a single finger
Right click: ‘long press’ , this kind of emulates right click and will bring up menus or spell correct on a word
Scroll wheel click: ‘Open Menu’ this opens the accessibility shortcuts menu, allows for setting up split screen apps easily
Forward button: ‘Control Center’ , volume control, etc
Back button: ‘Home’ , double click it and you get app switcher
I’m still not sure about having right click as long press when I can just long press with the normal left click.
