Looking to switch to an iPhone from Android but there are a few things stopping me from making the jump.
I have seen how fast and reliable iPhones are. I had iPhone 8 Plus for a few days and then I returned it as it could not do a few things that I wanted it to do. As soon as these problems are addressed, I am switching to iOS. Out of all these things, there were 3 big issues:
1. Gallery: the app for pictures in iPhone shows all of the pictures from all of the folders in just one folder called ‘Camera Roll’. I can make new folders/albums but the Camera Roll will show all of the pictures from all of the folders even though ‘Camera Roll’ means, pictures taken from the camera. Is there a way to sort these pictures in their respective folders if I just want to see the camera pictures?
2. Default apps: this is the biggest concern for me. Is there a way to just switch the current default app to another one of my liking? For example, using Firefox or Chrome as a default browser. Using Google Maps instead of Apple Maps when I click on an address.
3. Dark Mode: this bugged me a lot but I know its coming to iOS 13 now. Great!
That’s it. I haven’t been able to test new iOS since 8 Plus. Has Apple given more options so that I can change the way I want it to be or if not, do you think there is a way to address these issues? Thanks
