Any vector based animation apps similar to Adobe Animate?
After doing some research and messing around for a bit, I found out that Adobe Animate doesn’t play nicely with SideCar for iPadOS, and have come up short trying to find a good vector-based animation app that offers some degree of flexibility.
I initially used [RoughAnimator](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/roughanimator-animation-app/id954718244) (which doesn’t use vectors) for my animations, but slowly realized that I’d have to end up redrawing many frames because I’d lose quality from resizing elements frequently.
I tried looking at [Animation & Drawing](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/animation-drawing-by-do-ink/id364762290) which *is* vector based, however I quickly found that the approach is all wrong. It focuses on making quick objects and then quickly making them move around, which isn’t close to what I wanted to do.
Adobe Animate allows you to not only draw what you want, but it allows you to animate them by warping any lines or segments as needed for animation (such as tapping fingers, blinking, vibrations, etc.), and offers more functions. Am I out of options, or is there something I’ve overlooked? I don’t mind if it’s a macOS app over an iPadOS app, however I was hoping it would be functional with SideCar.
