Malware Difference Between Apple and Microsoft
[Eero Threat Report](https://i.imgur.com/cPgYD7t.jpg)
I have eero routers setup with their built-in security that filters traffic. [See here](https://i.imgur.com/OmM29Dr.jpg)
The only Windows computer I have in the house is a custom built gaming PC for VR. All other computing devices are Apple and smart home stuff.
The VR PC I never use. I leave it on, with no active programs running. Obviously thing will run in the background and update like Steam, Windows, Oculus, etc. but this computer was not being used at all the month of January. It runs headless, only connected to VR, so it not used for web or any other tasks.
I find these results staggering. That an idol PC will generate 10x as much potential (these numbers are what eero blocked, not total) malware as a Apple computer being used everyday.
This is not a shitpost, I’m not trying to bash Windows here but I just can believe these numbers and wanted to share. And they are consistent every month.
