Bug with two-finger swipe on keyboard to expand a text selection
As most of you probably know, using two-finger taps and gestures on the software keyboard gives you access to a handful of very useful actions for text editing (swiping moves the cursor; single, double and triple taps highlight words, sentences and paragraphs, respectively).
You can also use a two-finger swipe to modify an existing text selection (the initial direction of the swipe determines whether you move the beginning or the end of the selection).
This still works on my iPad (iPadOS 13.4), but when doing so, the hovering cursor moves close to the top of the screen, even though my selected text is somewhere in the middle. While the start/end markers of the selection still follow my swipe accurately, the cursor follows these movements fully only in horizontal direction. The vertical movement range is quite limited.
Do any of you also see that? Might not be visible in a document with a single line or paragraph. In landscape mode, the cursor might move so far up that it’s no longer visible at all.
