iPad compatible with physician workflow?
Hi all, the MacBook Pro has been my work sidekick for years. I’m now lured by the form factor of the iPad Pro. Although I know that the iPad will meet my needs to provide patient care while away from the hospital, I have a question for all you power users specifically with regards to pdf file access and management.
I currently have hundreds of medical journal articles and textbooks in pdf format, stratified in various folders and subfolders, both on my MacBook and uploaded to iCloud. I absolutely need the spotlight feature in the finder to conduct quick searches of my personal library numerous times of the day. I am not at all familiar with iPad OS. With the iPad, I’d like to buy the 1TB version so that I need not rely on iCloud to access my library. Question is, does iPad OS have a spotlight feature like Mac OS does? If so, my second question is, what app would you recommend that would allow me to edit (highlight text, add text) to pdf files, while keeping their integrity intact (in-document hyperlinks remain functional for example).
Many thanks for any insight you could give, stay safe out there.
