iPad Pro USB-C Gigabit networking
Picked up a new 2020 iPad Pro. Decided to upgrade my existing USB-C hub to one with gigabit networking as well. I bought two promising hubs, HooToo, and UNI, tested both and cannot get consistent gigabit speeds. Anyone know whats going on or how to get good speeds?
I have gigabit fiber internet so [SpeedTest.net](https://SpeedTest.net) shows 800/800+ most of the time. I’m using gigabit switches and routers, cat 6 cables etc. I’ve tried two adapters, flipped the USB-C connector, tried different cables, different ports, power adaptor, no power, 90w power etc.
Most of the time I get 40/700+, once in a while I get 100-300/700+, and a few times i’ve got 800+/800+. This also happens on a new MacBook Air.
