Magic Keyboard and the slight difference of keysize
Any keyboard for any apple device has pretty much the same key locations for the main keys (alphabet, etc), even between different keyboard types like the old keyboard, the newer keyboard for iMacs, etc, the Laptop keyboards and so on the distance from left control to dot on the F is about 90mm (jp keyboard).
On the magic keyboard for the ipad 11 it is about 77mm. So one finger off. Because of this when I start typing I almost always shift one key to the right.
That is my only complaint, because besides this the keyboard is amazing. Feels like any other apple keyboard (post butterfly). The trackpad is great, even with the reduced height.
And yes it is heavy, and must be else the thing would flip flop around or even topple over when you touch the display.
Is it worth it? if you type a lot and want to start using the ipad more like a laptop replacement (which its not yet), then yes. But be aware that it can’t be used for flat writing or low angle writing/usage like the normal cover can be. So I switch between them for certain things.
Also makes me want to have a full flat iPad back. This camera bump is just dumb./r/
